Latymer Sub-Aqua Club

for People with Disabilities

Munson's has chosen to support the Latymer Sub-Aqua Club in our 8th Annual Winter Festivus Charity Day.

We will help the club raise funds to purchase new equipment to be used by disabled divers.

Big thank you to all of those who have made a donation so far and thanks to all who turned up

on the morning of the 25 December 2006 to make our morning a enjoyable and roaring success.

With your help we raised £1140.

we are a unique as the only scuba diving club for people with disabilities in London.

training is given absolutely free.

The Club meets every other Saturday at Latymer Upper School swimming pool.

Provided you are able to swim you can learn to snorkel and scuba dive with trainers qualified by the British Sub-Aqua Club.

Disabled Club members who have trained and qualified as divers are there to give advice and encouragement.

The Club also has a medical officer, to advise on any concerns around fitness to dive, and who can carry out medical check-ups.

Most years the Club offers trips to the warm comfortable waters of the Red Sea and Cyprus for open water diving.
